Elç.12:1-11
1 O sırada kral Hirodes, kiliseden bazı kişilere eziyet etmeye başladı. 2 Yuhanna'nın kardeşi Yakup'u kılıçla öldürttü. 3 Yahudiler'in bundan memnun kaldığını görünce ardından Petrus'u da yakalattı. Bunu, Mayasız Ekmek Bayramı sırasında yaptı. 4 Petrus'u tutuklatıp hapse attırdı ve dörder kişilik dört takım askerin gözetimine teslim etti. Fısıh Bayramı'ndan sonra onu halkın önünde yargılamak niyetindeydi. 5 Bu nedenle Petrus hapiste tutuldu. Ama inanlılar topluluğu onun için Tanrı'ya hararetle dua ediyordu.
6 Petrus, Hirodes'in kendisini yargılayacağı günden önceki gece, çift zincirle bağlı olarak iki askerin arasında uyuyordu. Kapıda duran nöbetçiler de zindanın güvenliğini sağlıyordu.
7 Birdenbire Rab'bin bir meleği göründü ve hücrede bir
ışık parladı. Melek, Petrus'un böğrüne dokunup onu uyandırdı.
«Çabuk, kalk!» dedi. O anda zincirler Petrus'un bileklerinden düştü.
8 Melek ona, «Kuşağını bağla, çarıklarını giy» dedi. Petrus
da söyleneni yaptı. «Abanı giy, beni izle» dedi melek. 9 Petrus onu izleyerek dışarı
çıktı. Ama meleğin yaptığının gerçek olduğunu anlamıyor,
bir görüm gördüğünü sanıyordu. 10 Birinci ve ikinci nöbetçiyi geçerek kente açılan demir kapıya geldiler. Kapı, önlerinde kendiliğinden açıldı. Dışarı çıkıp bir sokak boyunca yürüdüler, sonra melek ansızın Petrus'un yanından ayrıldı.
11 O zaman kendine gelen Petrus, «Rab'bin bana meleğini gönderdiğini şimdi gerçekten anlıyorum» dedi. «O beni Hirodes'in elinden ve Yahudi halkının uğrayacağımı umduğu bütün belalardan kurtardı.»

1 Now about that time Herod the king laid hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them.
2 And he had James the brother of John put to death with a sword.
3 When he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. Now it was during the days of
Unleavened Bread.
4 When he had seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending
after the Passover to bring him out before the people.
5 So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made fervently by the church to God.
6 On the very night when Herod was about to bring him forward, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound
with two chains, and guards in front of the door were watching over the prison.
7 And behold, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared and a light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter's side and
woke him up, saying, "Get up quickly." And his chains fell off his hands.
8 And the angel said to him, "Gird yourself and put on your sandals." And he did so. And he said to him, "Wrap
your cloak around you and follow me."
9 And he went out and continued to follow, and he did not know that what was being done by the angel was real,
but thought he was seeing a vision.
10 When they had passed the first and second guard, they came to the iron gate that leads into the city, which
opened for them by itself; and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel departed from
him.
11 When Peter came to himself, he said, "Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent forth His angel and rescued
me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting."

1 Um diese Zeit legte der König Herodes Hand an einige von der Gemeinde, sie zu mißhandeln.
2 Er tötete aber Jakobus, den Bruder des Johannes, mit dem Schwert.
3 Und als er sah, daß es den Juden gefiel, fuhr er fort und nahm auch Petrus gefangen. Es waren aber eben die
Tage der Ungesäuerten Brote.
4 Als er ihn nun ergriffen hatte, warf er ihn ins Gefängnis und überantwortete ihn
vier Wachen von je vier Soldaten, ihn zu bewachen. Denn er gedachte, ihn nach dem Fest vor das Volk zu stellen.
5 So wurde nun Petrus im Gefängnis festgehalten; aber die Gemeinde betete ohne Aufhören für ihn zu Gott.
6 Und in jener Nacht, als ihn Herodes vorführen lassen wollte, schlief Petrus zwischen zwei Soldaten, mit zwei
Ketten gefesselt, und die Wachen vor der Tür bewachten das Gefängnis.
7 Und siehe, der Engel des Herrn kam herein, und Licht leuchtete auf in dem Raum; und er stieß Petrus in die Seite
und weckte ihn und sprach: Steh schnell auf! Und die Ketten fielen ihm von seinen Händen.
8 Und der Engel sprach zu ihm: Gürte dich und zieh deine Schuhe an! Und er tat es. Und er sprach zu ihm: Wirf
deinen Mantel um und folge mir!
9 Und er ging hinaus und folgte ihm und wußte nicht, daß ihm das wahrhaftig
geschehe durch den Engel, sondern meinte, eine Erscheinung zu sehen.
10 Sie gingen aber durch die erste und zweite Wache und kamen zu dem eisernen Tor, das zur Stadt führt; das tat
sich ihnen von selber auf. Und sie traten hinaus und gingen eine Straße weit, und alsbald verließ ihn der Engel.
11 Und als Petrus zu sich gekommen war, sprach er: Nun weiß ich wahrhaftig, daß der Herr seinen Engel gesandt
und mich aus der Hand des Herodes errettet hat und von allem, was das jüdische Volk erwartete.

5 Pierre donc était gardé dans la prison; et l'église ne cessait d'adresser pour lui des prières à Dieu.
6 La nuit qui précéda le jour où Hérode allait le faire comparaître, Pierre, lié de deux chaînes, dormait entre deux
soldats; et des sentinelles devant la porte gardaient la prison.
7 Et voici, un ange du Seigneur survint, et une lumière brilla dans la prison. L'ange réveilla Pierre, en le frappant au
côté, et en disant: Lève -toi promptement ! Les chaînes tombèrent de ses mains.
8 Et l'ange lui dit: Mets ta ceinture et tes sandales. Et il fit ainsi. L'ange lui dit encore: Enveloppe -toi de ton
manteau, et suis -moi.
9 Pierre sortit, et le suivit, ne sachant pas que ce qui se faisait par l'ange était réel, et s'imaginant avoir une vision.
10 Lorsqu'ils eurent passé la première garde, puis la seconde, ils arrivèrent à la porte de fer qui mène à la ville, et
qui s'ouvrit d'elle-même devant eux; ils sortirent, et s'avancèrent dans une rue. Aussitôt l'ange quitta Pierre.
11 Revenu à lui-même, Pierre dit: Je vois maintenant d'une manière certaine que le Seigneur a envoyé son ange, et
qu'il m 'a délivré de la main d'Hérode et de tout ce que le peuple juif attendait.
