Yeşaya 35:1-10
   ¹ Çöl ve kurak toprak sevinecek, Bozkır coşup çiğdem gibi çiçeklenecek.
   ² Her yanı çiçeklenip sevinçle coşacak, Sevincini haykıracak. Lübnan'ın yüceliği, Karmel ve Şaron'un görkemi ona verilecek. İnsanlar RAB'bin yüceliğini, Tanrımız'ın görkemini görecek.
   ³ Gevşek elleri güçlendirin, Pekiştirin çözülen dizleri.
   ⁴ Yüreği kaygılı olanlara, «Güçlü olun, korkmayın» deyin, «İşte Tanrınız geliyor! Öç almaya, karşılık vermeye geliyor. Sizi O kurtaracak.»

   ⁵ O zaman körlerin gözleri, Sağırların kulakları açılacak;
   ⁶ Topallar geyik gibi sıçrayacak, Sevinçle haykıracak dilsizlerin dili. Çünkü çölde sular fışkıracak, Irmaklar akacak bozkırda.
   ⁷ Kızgın kum havuza, Susuz toprak pınara dönüşecek. Çakalların yattığı yerlerde Kamış, saz ve ot bitecek.

   ⁸ Orada bir yol, bir anayol olacak, «Kutsal yol» diye anılacak, Murdar kişiler geçemeyecek oradan. O yol kurtulmuş olanların yoludur. O yolda yürüyenler, bön kişiler de olsa yoldan sapmayacak.
   ⁹ Aslan olmayacak orada, Yırtıcı hayvan o yola çıkmayacak; Orada bulunmayacaklar. Ancak kurtulmuş olanlar yürüyecek o yolda.
   ¹⁰ RAB'bin kurtardıkları dönecek, Sevinçle haykırarak Siyon'a varacaklar. Yüzlerinde sonsuz sevinç olacak. Onların olacak coşku ve sevinç, Üzüntü ve inilti kaçacak.

1 The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,
2 it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
3 Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
4 say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
7 The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
8 And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it.
9 No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
10 and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

1 Die Wüste und Einöde wird frohlocken, und die Steppe wird jubeln und wird blühen wie die Lilien.
2 Sie wird blühen und jubeln in aller Lust und Freude. Die Herrlichkeit des Libanon ist ihr gegeben, die Pracht von Karmel und Scharon. Sie sehen die Herrlichkeit des HERRN, die Pracht unsres Gottes.
3 Stärket die müden Hände und macht fest die wankenden Knie!
4 Saget den verzagten Herzen: »Seid getrost, fürchtet euch nicht! Seht, da ist euer Gott! Er kommt zur Rache; Gott, der da vergilt, kommt und wird euch helfen.«
5 Dann werden die Augen der Blinden aufgetan und die Ohren der Tauben geöffnet werden.
6 Dann werden die Lahmen springen wie ein Hirsch, und die Zunge der Stummen wird frohlocken. Denn es werden Wasser in der Wüste hervorbrechen und Ströme im dürren Lande.
7 Und wo es zuvor trocken gewesen ist, sollen Teiche stehen, und wo es dürre gewesen ist, sollen Brunnquellen sein. Wo zuvor die Schakale gelegen haben, soll Gras und Rohr und Schilf stehen.
8 Und es wird dort eine Bahn sein, die der heilige Weg heißen wird. Kein Unreiner darf ihn betreten; nur sie werden auf ihm gehen; auch die Toren dürfen nicht darauf umherirren.
9 Es wird da kein Löwe sein und kein reißendes Tier darauf gehen; sie sind dort nicht zu finden, sondern die Erlösten werden dort gehen.
10 Die Erlösten des HERRN werden wiederkommen und nach Zion kommen mit Jauchzen; ewige Freude wird über ihrem Haupte sein; Freude und Wonne werden sie ergreifen, und Schmerz und Seufzen wird entfliehen.
